Robert Nelson Bingham, age 74, of Trigg County, passed away from natural causes on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
Born in Trigg County, Kentucky, on March 6, 1952, he was the son of the late Ernest Bingham and Otha Lee Kirby Bingham.
Robert worked for many years at U.S. Tobacco and was known as a hardworking man who wore many hats throughout his life. In addition to his work there, he spent time working on cars, helping on the farm, driving farm equipment, and later became a sharecrop worker. He enjoyed cooking and listening to music, and he had a special gift for conversation — often turning strangers into friends after just one talk.
He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Michelle Russell; his son, Michael Daniels; his brothers and sisters, Joe Bingham, Nancy Staton, Ernest Bingham, Verna Franklin, Tyrone Bingham, Jeffery Bingham, Sammie Bingham, Nadine Walton, and Linda Reed; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a very special friend, Louise Frazier.
Funeral services for Robert Nelson Bingham will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Adams and Sons Mortuary.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday and continue until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Rocky Ridge Cemetery in Trigg County.
