Christian County Farm Bureau Names Two Legacy Farms

The Christian County Farm Bureau is honoring the dedication of two farming operations in the county, with black vultures and property values among issues members are concerned about.

Kentucky Farm Bureau State Board member Mary Kate Kordis presented Legacy Farm awards to Tobacco Way Farm and Minton Farms. Kordis says Tobacco Way Farm has a great agriculture history.

Meanwhile, Wesley Parker presented two policy suggestions to the membership, with black vultures problems among the concerns.

Scholarships were presented Eli Finch, Jesse Gilkey, Mollie Goode, Drew Lyle, and Suzzana Sargeant.

Saharah Peterson and Anthony Webster were recognized for participating in the Kentucky Farm Bureau Institute for Future Agriculture Leaders program.
