Pennyrile Electric crews and contract crews have narrowed down the power outages across the southern Pennyrile region to less than 4,000 outages.
Pennyrile Electric Vice President of Member Services Brent Gilkey says crews have made significant progress since Sunday evening when just under 6,000 members remained without electricity.
