A teenager was shot in a hunting accident on Grapevine Road in Crofton on Friday afternoon.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say it’s early in the investigation, but it appears a 16-year-old was shot in the head when a gun accidentally went off while hunting.

The teenager was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health after trying to get a helicopter, but they could not fly due to the weather.
