To honor the wishes of 73-year old Joyce Ann Russell of Hopkinsville, there there will be no formal services.
A small remembrance service will be held by the family at a later date.

Joyce Ann Russell, 73, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 4:20 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Greenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bowling Green, KY.
Joyce was born July 3, 1950 the daughter of Betty Ruth Murrell Russell of Hopkinsville, KY and the late Overton H. Russell. Joyce was a retired teacher with the Christian County Public School System.
Joyce was preceded in death by her father: Overton H. Russell; her sister: Janice K. Cunningham; and her brother: Robert D. Russell.
Survivors include her mother: Betty Ruth Murrell Russell of Hopkinsville, KY; her nephew: Greg (Rhonda) Abner of Hopkinsville, KY; her great nephews: J.B. (Taylor) Hendricks III and Jacob Abner both of Hopkinsville, KY; a great niece: Livia Ann Hendricks of Hopkinsville, KY; and several cousins.
