A Funeral Mass for 75-year old Linda A. West of Hopkinsville will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2024 at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Father Christopher Kight officiating.
Visitation will be Friday from 11:30 a.m. until the service hour. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Linda A West, 75, of Hopkinsville, KY died at 5:00 a.m. Sunday, April 28, 2024 at the Linda White Hospice House in Evansville, IN.
She was born December 17, 1948 in Cincinnati, OH the daughter of the late Robert Young Alexander and Louise Garnett Staab Alexander. Linda was raised in Hopkinsville, KY. After working as a social worker for over 30 years for the State of Kentucky, Linda’s love for children lead her to volunteer at Millbrooke Elementary School and later Hopkinsville High School. Linda was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church where she had worked in the St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Store and served as an Adorer in the church’s Adoration Ministry.
Survivors include her son: Brian Matthew Wyatt of Hopkinsville; her brothers: Alex (Norma) Alexander of Cunningham, TN and Bill Alexander of Hopkinsville, KY; her sister: Patti (Jim) Gawley of Lewisville, TX; and her granddaughter: Kaya Dickerson-Wyatt.
