A man wanted in connection to a shooting at a restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee on Easter Sunday was arrested in Princeton Tuesday.
According to Assistant Princeton Police Chief Shane Allison, 46-year old Anton Rucker of Murfreesboro, Tennessee was taken into custody at a residence without incident near the 300 block of North Donnivan Street after police received information from the Pennyriile Narcotics Task Force that the Easter Sunday suspect was believed to be in Princeton.
Allison says Princeton Police, Metro Nashville Police, agents from the ATF and the U.S. Marshal’s Service and detectives from the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force worked together to locate Rucker.
Following his arrest, Rucker was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail on the warrant charging him with criminal homicide. He is awaiting extradition back to Tennessee.
Rucker is accused of killing one man and injuring several others in the shooting at the Roasted restaurant in the Salemtown neighborhood of Nashville on Sunday.
Additionally, police say 43-year old Terrance Hall of Princeton was found at the residence and taken into custody as a fugitive out of Tennessee. He was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail charged with domestic assault that occurred in 2020 and is unrelated to the Rucker investigation.
Princeton Police officers reportedly executed a search warrant at the residence and found a large amount of cash, meth and marijuana, along with guns and drug paraphernalia. Hall, also known as “Supreme” was additionally charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, trafficking meth over 2 grams firearm enhanced, trafficking marijuana firearm enhanced and possession of drug paraphernalia.
