Joy Closet Hope House Info Meetings Scheduled for April 18

Joy Closet in Hopkinsville will be having a pair of informational sessions later this month to educate on its new initiative — Hope House — and hear from the workers on the front lines that work with foster children and their placement.

Joy Closet Executive Director Heather Gray said Julia Roberts will be at the forefront of the Hope House effort.

In just the first six months of operation, Joy Closet served over 200 families. They utilize 7,500 square feet in the former Belmont Elementary School and provide assistance to children and teens in the foster care system.

Joy Closet is funded almost exclusively through fundraising.
