A Hopkinsville man was charged with possession of drugs after a traffic stop on Canton Street Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 32-year-old David Owens after he failed to stop at a stop sign and during the stop, they could see a marijuana blunt on the passenger seat.
After a search of the vehicle, a bag of a white powder believed to be cocaine was reportedly located underneath the driver’s seat.
He was arrested and charged with disregarding a stop sign, operating on a suspended or revoked license, possession of cocaine, and possession of marijuana.
