A Trigg County home was destroyed in a fire on South Road Tuesday night.
Trigg County emergency personnel say they were called to the 13000 Block of South Road for a structure fire and found part of the home engulfed in flames.
The owner was able to get out uninjured but the home is considered a total loss.
Firefighters from Linton and East Golden Pond fire departments all responded to the fire
The cause of the fire was unknown.
