A wreck on West Greenville Road sent a Sharon Grove man to the hospital with severe injuries and led to an Elkton man being charged with DUI Friday morning.
Todd County Sheriff’s deputies say 59-year-old David Stokes of Elkton was on West Greenville Road when he pulled into the path of 49-year-old Kevin Hadden who was on Kentucky 181.
Hadden’s vehicle reportedly ran off the road overturning several times and ejecting him before coming to a stop in a cornfield.
Hadden was taken by ambulance to Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville for severe injuries. Stokes was arrested and charged with DUI second offense.
The wreck happened just before 8 a.m. The Todd County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Allegre Fire Department, Todd County Rescue, and Todd County EMS.
