Man Grazed In Hopkinsville Shooting

A Hopkinsville man was grazed in a shooting on South Virginia Street at the intersection of Country Club Lane Saturday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 41-year-old James Foster fired a gun during an argument over using his neighbor’s phone striking a man in his hip.
The bullet reportedly hit the man’s watch and belt before grazing his hip.
The man whose name has not been released suffered only minor injuries and he refused medical attention.
Police say another man and a woman were inside the apartment at the time of the shooting. Foster reportedly hid the gun before police arrived.
Foster was arrested and charged with first-degree assault, tampering with physical evidence, using restricted ammunition, and two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
