In a video message to students Friday, Hopkinsville Community College President Dr. Alissa Young congratulated graduating students on their accomplishments.
The message was released on the evening their commencement ceremony was scheduled, but couldn’t take place because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Young says all graduates are an inspiration.
Dr. Young adds they will host a live virtual ceremony in the coming months.
During the video, Dr. Young awarded the Spirit Award to Hannah Palai, of Fort Campbell.
Emma Sunderhaus, of Hopkinsville and Jennifer Gomez Villegas, now of Germany was named Hopkinsville – KCTCS All-Academic Team members.
