A home on Hubbardsville Lane was damaged in a fire that started in the kitchen Wednesday night.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Battalion Chief Michael Henderson said smoke and flames were coming from the roof of the home when they arrived just before 10 pm.
Everyone inside the home at the time of the fire was able to get out before firefighters arrived. The fire in the kitchen caused smoke damage throughout the whole home.
Henderson said the family will be displaced and the American Red Cross has been contacted to assist them.
