A report of a disturbance led to two people being charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place on North Elm Street on Saturday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say they were called for a disturbance and found 34-year-old Alexis Terrell kicking at someone’s door and someone else screaming.

While investigating the disturbance, police say 35-year-old Qwanelius Bussell refused to listen to the officer’s commands and showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol.

Law enforcement had reportedly been called to that area three times before the arrests were made.

Terrell was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and attempted second-degree burglary. Bussell was also arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and resisting arrest.
