
A child and a teenager were injured in separate shootings in Hopkinsville within the last two weeks.
Hopkinsville Police say a child was shot in the head on East 9th Street in what is believed to be an accidental shooting and had to be flown to a Nashville hospital, where he is listed in stable condition as of Tuesday.
Police say in a separate shooting, a 15-year-old was shot in the face on Oak Hurst Drive by another juvenile. He was also flown to a Nashville hospital, where he was treated and released.
No charges have been filed in either investigation, as law enforcement believes they are accidental shootings.
