
A Hopkinsville man was charged after a low-speed pursuit in Hopkinsville Saturday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 50-year-old Samuel Sivils Jr. at the intersection of East 14th Street and South Campbell Street when he failed to stop.
The pursuit reportedly continued at low speeds with Sivils stopping in front of a home on East 4th Street.
Sivils was taken into custody and charged with disregarding a traffic control device, no insurance, failure to or improper signal, second-degree fleeing or evading police, no registration plates, and possession of synthetic drugs, along with having an active warrant for probation violation.
