Michael “Mike” D. Westerman, age 68, of Lafayette, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at his home from natural causes. Graveside Services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Powell Cemetery with Pastor James Ates officiating and burial to follow. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mike was born in Dansville, IL, on August 20, 1957, the son of the late Eugene and Mildred Louise Boren Westerman. He retired from Dana Corporation and was a Christian Man. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Lee Westerman; his brothers, Lloyd Westerman and Terry Westerman; and his sister, Sherry Westerman.
Survivors include his two brothers, Floyd Westerman of Chicago, IL, and Steven Westerman of Lafayette, KY; his sisters, Nancy Westerman of Portland, TN, and Patty (James) Westerman Ates of Green Forest, AR; several nieces and nephews; and great nieces and great nephews.
