Heritage Christian Academy’s 21 Seniors Graduate During Faith-Filled Ceremony

The hymn “Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing” drifted through the Bruce Convention Center moments before the familiar strains of “Pomp and Circumstance,” setting the tone for an emotional graduation ceremony for Heritage Christian Academy.

The ceremony Thursday night honored a close-knit senior class of 21 students, many of whom have spent years growing together in both faith and academics.

Every graduation, HCA gives out the Warrior of the Year Award. This year’s recipients were Halleah Baker, Collin Outland, and Jerry Spurling.

John Walsh, Heritage Christian Academy headmaster, said these recipients showed Christian discipleship throughout the years, leading behind the scenes as much as they did in the spotlight.
