Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Stanley Marcus on East 19th Street after a report of shots fired, and a law enforcement K9 alerted on the SUV, leading officers to find suspected meth and several pills in the vehicle.
No evidence of a shooting was reportedly found, and Marcus was found to have a suspended license.
He was arrested and charged with driving DUI suspended license second offense, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, prescription controlled substance not in a proper container, and trafficking meth second or more offenses.
