Colleen Nora Mason, 92, of Owensboro, KY died on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 7:40 p.m.
Colleen was born on June 27, 1933, in Harlan County, KY. She was a registered nurse and of Baptist faith. She loved to travel and spend time with family, especially her granddaughter and great-grandchildren. She was known to many as “Ms. Hollywood”, because she loved her dressing up.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Neil Vizedom; sisters: Maxine Hunter and Christine Haverly; mother: Hazel Ramey; and father: Hayes Ramey.
She is survived by one son: William (Vanessa) Hayes of Greenville, KY; one granddaughter: Stacy Williams of Owensboro, KY; one step-grandson: Christopher Sampson of Greenville, KY; one step-granddaughter: Heather Wester of Bremen, KY; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one niece: Kathy Guyn of North Carolina; and two nephews: Billy Haverly and Donnie Haverly of Indiana.
Funeral will be held privately. Memorial contributions are suggested towards St. Jude. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton is in charge of those arrangements.
