Albert Ray Morris of Hopkinsville, Kentucky passed away at the age of 79 on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Baptist Health Deaconess Hospital in Madisonville with his wife and family by his side.

Ray was a native of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, born on August 4, 1946 to the late Edward Morris and Faye Elizabeth Hayes Morris. Throughout his life, he was a talented mechanic and welder who spent his later years as a truck driver for KY Western. He and his wife were members of Britmart Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife: Roberta Joyce; his sons: Tony (Kari), Mickey, Scott (Christine) and his sisters: Rita (Tommy) Berman and Brenda (Teddy) Morgan; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
