The 2026 Trigg County FFA Banquet brought together the agriculture community to support the accomplishments of the FFA chapter.
The evening began with opening ceremonies by the 2025-2026 officer team, led by chapter president Ethan Curling. The officer team also included vice president Miley Johnson, secretary Akia Kearny, treasurer Connor Fitzhugh, reporter Thomas Ligenfelter, sentinel Ella Chalfin, and committee chairs Elliott Sutton, Kacey Kearny, and Henicey Hodge.
Following this, members were awarded with plaques made by the Trigg County CTE for their hard work during the Regional FFA competition.
In addition, some members were awarded with the Greenhand or Chapter degree, both are awards given to those who show dedication and passion for FFA and their Supervised Agriculture Experience.
As for outstanding member awards, Brianna Rice received the Outstanding Freshman award, Colby Ross received the Outstanding Sophomore award, Kacey Kearny received the Outstanding Junior award, and Akia Kearny, Ethan Curling, Miley Johnson, Brooke Humphries, and Kiley Slone received Outstanding Senior awards.
Various senior members also received scholarships given by community supporters.
Before retiring his position, Curling gave advice to the newer FFA members.
The evening ended with the FFA closing ceremonies by the 2026-2027 officer team, which includes president Thomas Lingenfelter, vice president Kacey Kearny, secretary Ella Chalfin, treasurer Elliott Sutton, reporter Stevie Johnson, sentinel Colby Ross, parliamentarian Connor Fitzhugh, historian Holly Britton, and committee chairs Brianna Rice, Ben Burgess, and Emily Stanford.
