Applications are now being accepted for the 2026-27 Leadership Christian County class, a nine-month program designed to help develop future civic, business, and community leaders in Hopkinsville and Christian County.
Chamber President Taylor Hayes says Leadership Christian County brings together people from a variety of backgrounds who have shown leadership potential and want to play a bigger role in shaping the community’s future.
Incoming chair Nikki Chamber says the program offers a hands-on experience that gives participants a better understanding of local issues, connects them with established leaders, and encourages them to become stronger civic and community ambassadors.
Admission is competitive and limited to 20 participants. Applicants must live or work in Christian County, be willing to commit to the program’s requirements, and have the support of the organization or business they represent.
Applications must be completed online, and the application deadline is Tuesday, May 20. Questions can be directed to the Christian County Chamber of Commerce at 270-885-9096.
