Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County Announce Busy Spring Lineup

The Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County have a full slate of events planned this spring, beginning this week.

Executive Director Alissa Keller says it starts Thursday night with the first History on Tap program of 2026 at Hopkinsville Brewing Company.

click to download audioThe program will focus on Kentucky’s 1966 Civil Rights Act, which marks 60 years.

click to download audioKeller says the law expanded rights beyond those guaranteed in the 1964 federal Civil Rights Act. Thursday’s discussion begins at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, the museum will host the Focus 21st Century youth leadership group for a daylong visit.

Looking ahead to March, the museum will co-host a poetry workshop called “I Declare” with Hoptown Chronicle, the League of Women Voters, and WKMS as part of the America 250 initiative.

Keller says Supper Club returns March 12th, but it is already sold out. The next installment is planned for April.

Later in the month, the Edgar Cayce Hometown Seminar runs March 20th through the 22nd, featuring guest speaker Adam Stokes discussing Atlantis and events tied to Cayce’s March 18th birthday.
