Funeral services for 68-year-old John "Papa Jack" Bradbury, Jr, of Herndon will be held Wednesday, February 11, at 2:00 p.m. at Lamb Funeral Home with full military honors.
Visitation will be from noon until the service hour on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at the funeral home.
John “Papa Jack” Bradbury, Jr., 68, Lonnie Walker Highway, Herndon, KY passed away Friday, February 6, 2026 at his home of natural causes.
A native of Reading, PA, he was born May 1, 1957, the son of the late John James Bradbury, Sr. and the late Celia (Godek) Bradbury.
John was a Green Beret and retired from the United States Army. He also was a police officer with Hopkinsville Police Department for 10 years. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans, Elk Foundation, and Ducks Unlimited.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, James Bradbury.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Judi Bradbury, Herndon, KY; his son, Will (Wendy) Myers, Christian County, KY; his brother, Jerry Bradbury, Virginia Beach, VA; his sister, Maureen Ford, Virginia Beach, VA.
