Funeral Services for 71 year old Gilbert “Gib” Flood of Cadiz will be held Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at King’s Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Gilbert “Gib” Flood was born in Cadiz, KY on December 17, 1953 to Clayton Earl and Hattie Mae Peal Flood.
He died on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Baptist Health in Paducah.
Gib retired from the Kentucky State Department of Transportation as a Time Keeper. He was an Auctioneer and Farmer, of the Baptist Faith, a member of the Missouri Fox Trotters Association, and the Trigg Co. Riding Club. Gib had a love for horses and was an avid UK Basketball fan.
