A Hopkinsville woman was injured in a wreck on Pennyrile Parkway in Christian County Thursday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a car driven by Eugenia Bailey was southbound 6 miles north of exit 11 when her tire came off causing her vehicle to hit a truck on the side of the road.
Bailey’s car overturned coming to a rest on its top in the ditch. The truck was unoccupied and parked on the side of the road.
Bailey was transported by a family member to the hospital for a head injury.
