A Hopkinsville man was charged with human trafficking in connection to an investigation by the Hopkinsville Police Department and the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit Sunday.
Hopkinsville Police say Cortez Lewis Jr. was actively luring and recruiting juveniles to engage in sexual acts with adults.
He was arrested and charged with human trafficking and procuring or promoting the use of minors by electronic means.
Police say since August 2023 they’ve received numerous tips about Internet crimes committed against children and charged several people.
