Richard Gauthier, 71, of Pembroke, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at his home of natural causes.
A memorial service will be at noon. Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Lamb Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Lamb Funeral Home.
A native of Alexander, LA, he was born, on August 18, 1952, the son of the late Lawrence Paul Gauthier and the late Doretta Jean (Smith) Gauthier.
Richard served in the United States Army and worked in nursing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Pierre Gauthier and Joseph Gauthier; his sisters, Juanelle Greer, Gwen Gonzales, and Mary Conway.
Survivors include his sons, Chris Gauthier, of Virginia, Richard Gauthier II and Brandon Gauthier, both of Louisiana; his daughters, Jeannie (Ramsey) Harris, Madisonville, KY, Jennifer Gauthier and Monique Gauthier, both of Louisiana and Michelle Gauthier, Alaska; his brothers, James Gauthier and Stephen Gauthier, both of Louisiana; and his sisters, Anita Long and Kathryn Kinalidis, both of Louisiana.
