A man was struck by a vehicle on Old Madisonville Road in Crofton Thursday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a man claimed was struck by a vehicle about a mile from the intersection of Madisonville Road north of Crofton.
Hopkinsville Fire Department spokesman Payton Rogers says the man suffered leg, rib, and head injuries and was flown to a Nashville hospital.
The vehicle reportedly fled the scene before law enforcement arrived and has not been located.
Deputies say they are still investigating the incident due to evidence not fully matching his story.
