250th Anniversary Bench Dedicated By Colonel Stephen Trigg SAR

The Colonel Stephen Trigg Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution gathered with local and state officials Sunday afternoon to dedicate a granite bench to begin the celebration of the 250th Anniversary of America.

Chapter President Steve Mallory says the bench is likely the first in Kentucky to be dedicated and among the first in the United States. Tim Brown, President Kentucky Society Sons of the American Revolution saluted the Colonel Stephen Trigg Chapter for their work to design the bench.

Following the benediction, SAR members provided by 21 gun salute with revolutionary war era muskets.
