Graveside services for 71-year-old Susan Gayle Lafon, of Cadiz, will be 10 AM Thursday at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Wednesday at King’s Funeral Home.
Survivors include:
Husband of 35 years, Ronnie L. Lafon, of Cadiz;
One son, Robert Lafon, of Hopkinsville;
One daughter, Amanda Gish, of Nortonville;
Two brothers, Jack Winters (Susie), of Central City, and Jim Winters (Savanah), of Bremen;
Five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Rev. Mark Walker, Bro. Jim Winters and Bro. Ronald Lafon are officiating.
She was born April 5, 1952, in Central City to the late George Wesley Winters and Mattie Elizabeth Pointer Winters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by
her son, Scotty Gish; two brothers, Jerry Winters and Pete Winters and a sister, Rosa Winters.
She died Sunday, October 22, 2023, at Continue Care Hospital at Baptist Health in Paducah.
She was a retired supervisor from the Christian County School Bus Department, a member of the Serenity Temple Church in St. Charles and she enjoyed doing a prayer list on Facebook.
