There will be no funeral services at this time for 67-year-old Vanessa Ann Perry Cox, of Guffey, Colorado, formerly of Cerulean.
Mountain Memorial Funeral Home in Divide, Colorado is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include husband; Ernest Cox; son, Perry and wife Kayla Cox; grandson, Trystan Cox; brother James Perry; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She passed away peacefully at home of natural causes on May 12, 2023. She was born September 5, 1955, in Cadiz, KY to the late Carl Perry and Barbara Sowell Perry. Mrs. Cox attended Trigg County Schools, then went on to attend Western Kentucky University. Vanessa met the love of her life, Ernest, in college and went on to create 48 years of wonderful memories together. Mrs. Cox spent 20+ years working as a rural mail carrier in Cadiz, KY, where every one of her customers became family to her. She loved God, taking road trips, & spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Trystan.
