Man Charged With Intimidation After Riding On Hood Of Car

A Hopkinsville man was charged with intimidating a participant in a legal process after he arrived at the police department on the hood of a vehicle Sunday morning.

Hopkinsville Police say a woman pulled up with Eugene Smith on the hood of her car and claimed he was drunk and would not let her sleep. During the prior argument, he reportedly took her phone so she could not call for the police then jumped on the hood of the vehicle when she was driving to the police department.

He was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and intimidating a participant in a legal process.
