Marjorie was the daughter of Charles Henry Winston and Goldie Shanklin Winston. She was born on October 15, 1926, in Todd Co.
Marjorie was a member of the Silver Star Baptist Church and was a Domestic Homemaker.
She enjoyed gardening, and reading magazines, cookbooks, newspapers, and other literature.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, James Rudolph Winston, William “Bill” Winston, Charles Raymond Winston, and George Nathan Winston.
Survivors include her daughter, Dietra Watson; Siblings, James D. (Willie Sharon) “Jimmy” Winston, Delmar (JoAnn) Winston, Ethel Winston, and Kaye (Robert) Peterson; and a host of nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 31 at 12 pm at the Silver Star Baptist Church in Pembroke.
Visitation will be at the church Friday morning at 11.
Burial will follow in the Cave Spring Cemetery.
