Trial Date Vacated In Oak Grove Murder Case

A man charged with complicity to murder in the Oak Grove fatal shooting of 18-year old Gailon Toler of Clarksville had his motion to modify his bond denied in Christian County Circuit Court Wednesday afternoon.

Tyron Holt was initially indicted by a Christian County grand jury on one count of murder but during a hearing last September, Commonwealth’s Attorney Rick Boling said he was willing to modify the indictment to complicity to murder based upon the facts of the case that witnesses did not place the gun in Holt’s hands at the time of Toler’s death.

Defense attorney Munroe Graham stated to Judge Self that Holt had filed a motion to amend or reduce his bond back in November and he wanted to argue the motion on his own behalf.

Oak Grove Police said the victim, Toler, was found with multiple gunshot wounds outside of a mobile home on Tyler Street just after 2:00 the morning of May 22, 2022.
