The deadline to apply for the Tennessee Valley Authority’s annual robotics grant is Friday, May 15.
Adam May, spokesman for the organization, said the application — found at tva.com/robotics — is easy for administrators, teachers and non-profit leaders to fill out and return.
All that’s needed is the name of the school/organization affiliation, an amount of money requested up to $5,000, what the money would be used for, and how it can apply to teaching/embracing robotics as a learned concept.
TVA is expected to hand out more than $700,000 across seven states, and award letters to winning project ideas will be sent this summer.
