Two students are moving forward in the annual Veterans of Foreign Wars essay contests.
VFW Post 1913 Commander John Brame says they were pleased with the quality of work completed by the participants this year.

click to download audioWooten and Cansler will go on to compete at the district level. In the Patriot Pen contest, Hannah McVay from Christian County Middle School came in second. Second place in the Voice of Democracy contest went to Hopkinsville High School’s Eva Blankenberger.
