Meth And Guns Seized In Christian County Investigation

An investigation by the Christian County Sheriff’s Office and the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms led to a search warrant for a Hopkinsville home Wednesday.

Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Rick Burgess says a search of a home located at the 500 block of Southwind Drive led to the arrest of 43-year-old Shaun Powers of Hopkinsville.

Meth, a rifle, and a handgun were reportedly found during the search.

Powers was arrested and charged with possession of meth, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
