A Cadiz man was charged with assaulting a woman after an argument on Roaring Spring Road in Trigg County Saturday morning.
Trigg County Sheriff’s Deputy Danny Collings says 29-year-old Michael McGee got into an argument with his girlfriend over text messages on his phone and allegedly slammed her head against the wall and choked her. McGee also allegedly threw a rock at the vehicle shattering the driver-side back window.
He was arrested and charged with first-degree strangulation, fourth-degree assault, and third-degree criminal mischief.
