A Hopkinsville man was charged Tuesday morning for stealing metal in May from property belonging to an area church.
Hopkinsville Police say 45-year-old Chad Love helped another man take $1,050 worth of metal from a barn owned by Mount Vernon Church. The men then allegedly sold the metal to Green Earth Recycling for $40. Police say Love was seen on trail cameras taking the items.
He is charged with third-degree burglary.
