Trigg County Public Schools will name a new principal for the high school Tuesday morning.
Community Education Coordinator Sarah Elliott said the district would announce the new principal at 9:30. She added the community is invited to attend the announcement that will take place in the Trigg County High School Media Center, but everyone will be required to wear masks.
The announcement for a new principal comes after Shannon Burcham retired in late March, after working in the district for around 30 years. Randy McCallon served as the interim principal through the end of the school year, which ended Thursday.
