The Edge Media Group and the Little River Baptist Association will host a National Day of Prayer event Thursday.
Little River Missions Director Bro. Bobby Sellars tells the News Edge they are excited to host the event at 11:30 a.m. in the WKDZ/WHVO Parking Lot.

The Trigg County National Day of Prayer event will broadcast live on 106.5 WKDZ and WKDZradio.com.
The National Day of Prayer event began in 1952 following a joint resolution of the United States Congress and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. The day is observed the first Thursday of May and invites people of all faiths to pray for the nation.
