Child Injured When Vehicle Crashes Into Sanderson Drive Home

Police have released the name of a woman and child injured in a crash on Sanderson Drive Friday night.

Hopkinsville Police say shortly before 9 pm 65-year-old Sandra Brasher was driving on North Drive when she ran a stop sign and her car crossed Sanderson Drive and hit an SUV that was parked in a driveway. The force of the impact with Brasher’s car pushed the SUV into the home, injuring 7-year-old Logan Hamlin, who was at a desk against the wall.

Brasher had to be extricated from her vehicle and was transported to Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville.

Hamlin was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
