A Christian County woman died after being pulled from a burning home in Crofton Thursday night.

Crofton firefighters say the home, located on East Princeton Street, near the intersection with Old Madisonville Road, was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived just after 6 pm.
64-year-old Linda Wall was trapped in the home due to the fire. Firefighters were able to get her out and she was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, where the Christian County Coroner’s Office confirmed Wall later died.
Firefighters say the fire started in the garage and quickly spread to the rest of the home. State fire investigators have been called to the scene.
