South West Kentucky Economic Development Council Director Carter Hendricks spoke to Trigg County magistrates Monday night to provide an update on their organization.

Hendricks said his board recently approved action to make the superintendents of the Trigg and Todd County school districts ex-officio members.

Hendricks added the phone has started to ring again concerning companies looking for new places to locate their business.

When it concerns Trigg County, Hendricks said the Interstate 24 Business Park is a prime location for a distribution centered business.

Hendricks shared the top ten factors being used for businesses to select new locations, many of which Trigg County is doing well in.

The South West Kentucky EDC serves Trigg, Christian, and Todd counties.
