A home on Hawthorne Drive in Hopkinsville was severely damaged by fire early Sunday morning.
Hopkinsville Firefighters say a fire started in the kitchen and quickly spread to the living room causing severe damage. The owner was able to get out of the home uninjured. Firefighters say the two people that stay in the home will be temporarily displaced.
The home is located at 702 Hawthorne Drive.
