Officials with the Christian County Health Department reported Monday morning there are seven total cases of COVID-19 in the county.

Health Department Public Information Officer Amanda Sweeney says they received information a 54-year-old female and a 62-year-old female tested positive for COVID-19. She adds these two cases are not related and both individuals are improving.

According to Sweeney, the first case reported in Christain County earlier in March, a 61-year-old female, has served the 14 day self-isolation period and is now experiencing no symptoms of the coronavirus.
