Man Charged After Firing His Gun During Elkton Fight

A Hopkinsville man was charged with wanton endangerment after he fired his gun during a fight in Elkton Wednesday afternoon.

Elkton Police say 22-year-old Derrick Reynolds fired his 9 mm handgun in the air as two females were fighting on Streets Avenue.

Police say the two women came from Hopkinsville to fight and before police arrived Reynolds fled in a truck that was stopped on Kentucky 181.

He was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment.

Police have not released any information on the two females.
